SOUNDCHECK

KEYSPAN PARK, BROOKLYN, NEW YORK

Daft Punk

Thursday, August 9, 2007

Daft Punk realize that two guys in masks twisting knobs for 90
minutes doesn’t make for the most compelling live show, so

for their first tour in ten years, they brought the spectacle. But
are mysterious Frenchmen Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and
Thomas Bangalter actually onstage, or do they send out stand-ins,
as some have speculated? “The view from the pyramid is amazing,”
says Bangalter. “Why would we want to trade such a spot?”
