BOWERY BALLROOM, NEW YORK CITY

White Rabbits
Thursday, December 13, 2007

At the end of a six-month tour across the country, Brooklyn’s only self-
described “honky-tonk calypso” sextet were happy to play a homecoming
show, not only to see their friends, but also to take a break from humping
all their gear. “We carry way too much stuff, including two drum kits and
a piano,” says White Rabbits singer/guitarist Greg Roberts. “But when
you’ve got six people, you can afford to be democratic about labor.”
