At the annual KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas Show, the
punk-metal maniacs had no trouble delivering their own brand
of holiday cheer. “The crowd was very well behaved—we’re
used to kids already knocking each other’s heads off before we
even play a note,” says singer M. Shadows. “But by the end, I
think we converted them. We just played harder.”
