It’s been years since Green Day got their start playing 924 Gilman,
the tiny all-ages East Bay punk club. Still, a bottle-blond Billie Joe
Armstrong seemed right at home storming this Mexican restaurant
for an unannounced reunion show by his long-dormant side band.
“San Pedro equals good people,” says other guitarist Jason White.
“It was a great thing that Pinhead was able to play again.”
