Playing the same venue where the Who recorded a classic live album
didn’t exactly pique the Cribs’ historical interest. “I’ve never even
heard Live at Leeds,” says bassist Gary Jarman. But even if Jarman
and his brothers/bandmates, Ryan (pictured) and Ross, have already
ascended to legendary venues, they haven’t changed their approach.
“When we play big places, we try to keep our connection with the
crowd,” says Gary. “That’s why Ryan always ends up on the floor.”
