Considered “Israel’s loudest band,” these garage rockers also
stand out as devotees of the art of drum-surfing. Take a recent
South by Southwest set. “It’s a good show if Gever’s above the
crowd,” says guitarist Yonatan Gat about their mono-monikered
drummer, “but he’s actually kind of clumsy. He’s scared to be up
there.” For good reason. “When we played Houston,” explains
Gat, “he got smashed with a disco ball in the face.”
