For Death Set singer Johnny Sierra, this hometown show satisfied
the three criteria for a “bonkers night”: “It was in a small space,
it was all-ages, and it was full of nerds.” Wait—one of those
things is not like the others. “Yeah, but I mean nerdy in the best
possible way,” says Sierra. “Nerds are people who aren’t afraid
to spaz out. They’re the ones who made that show so rad.”
