The former Guided by Voices leader has just released his 4,357th album, Robert Pollard Is Off to Business (Guided by Voices Inc.), but his boldest new venture is as a fine artist: This month, Fantagraphics will publish a coffee-table book of his collages, Town of Mirrors. “I like to deconstruct things,” he says. “To me, what I do with a song isn’t that different from what I do with a collage.”
