Expect chaos when Athens, Georgia’s Dark Meat come to town.
“Our shows get confusing,” says Jim McHugh, guitarist and singer
for the 15-member outfit. “I don’t always know who’s in the band
and who’s in the crowd.” The shows get dangerous, too. “I’ve
nailed [singer] SJ in the head with my guitar,” McHugh adds. Did he
apologize? “I was more worried I was out of tune. But I felt bad later.”
