About Our Host These days, Morello is almost as well known for political activism as he is for playing guitar for Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave. He’s pushed his agenda most recently on The Fabled City, his second album as folk alter ego the Night watchman. “I didn’t just want to be a guitarist,” says Morello, who graduated Harvard with a political science degree. “I wanted to be a guitarist who was intellectually well armed to take on the state!”
